We ship cars and light commercial vehicles to the Caribbean by sea. Drive it to our West Thurrock depot, hand over the keys and the V5C, and we take it from there.
Vehicles are shipped [RoRo or in a container: owner to confirm method per destination]. We prepare the export paperwork on the UK side and work with a clearing agent at the destination.
Import rules and duty differ on every island. Jamaica, for example, limits the age of imported used cars; Guyana and Trinidad have their own rules. We will tell you what applies before you commit.
You can also send personal effects with the vehicle where the destination allows it. Ask when you book.
